I will look into adding a Shortcut which you can use to export bookmarks! https://github.com/rasmuslos/ShelfPlayer/issues/321 is used to track editing bookmarks.
Please check if the bug persists in the new update which will release in a few days!
Do the downloaded episodes have the downwards arrow next to them in the regular podcast view?
Can you share a debug log after the issue happened?
Does this happen when the playback is still active (playback bar is visible) or does it happen regardless?
Is the app still laggy after the first few minutes? It takes bit of time to build the disk cache.
Narrator support has been added in version 3.0.0.
