Export bookmarks

I switched from the ListenBook app to ShelfPlayer after the big iOS update and I’m loving ShelfPlayer so much!

One tiny problem though.

I’ve been using the ShelfPlayer “Bookmark” feature to take notes while I’m listening. But I didn’t realize that ShelfPlayer doesn’t let you edit or export your timestamped bookmarks/notes later like ListenBook does.

Really really hoping that ShelfPlayer will add an export feature soon! So far, I have 100+ bookmarks/notes in ShelfPlayer and don’t want to lose them! I like .CSV but any file format that exports the whole bookmark comment would be great!

Right now, there’s no option to export bookmarks or edit them or even view the whole comment. Here’s what the feature looks like on ListenBook:

This is what ShelfPlayer looks like right now. If you press on a bookmark, the app just jumps to that timestamp in the audio, but you can’t view the whole bookmark comment, edit it, or export.

I will look into adding a Shortcut which you can use to export bookmarks! https://github.com/rasmuslos/ShelfPlayer/issues/321 is used to track editing bookmarks.
