Apart from that looks good, also the area under the green bar seems to be rendered correctly (apart from green bar), so no obvious h264 or vp9 problem. Already tried...

Rebooted the firetv now it works fine (leaving screen at 1080p). Edit: worked only once, and even does not work again after restarting. So back to my initial display issues.
