Just a quick update, I saw the same behavior (canopy, instruments and sky are black / opaque) with 3.0.

@yankee42 sorry, we announced this on the CP site earlier (https://github.com/Courseplay/courseplay/issues/7142). This is the commit you want to look at: https://github.com/Courseplay/courseplay/commit/a1f8fad42f1939dd32a66720ee9363537c5bd64e, especially the Course.serializeWaypoints() and Course.deserializeWaypoints() functions.

@BattleHook btw, Courseplay has a built in editor which is fine for minor adjustments.
