Agree that I'd love to see goenv 2.0 be available in Homebrew, and this isn't a goenv problem to solve. It looks like the goenv formula in Homebrew stopped updating...

Had a look at several possible ways to fix and have no idea what's the right one. Workaround's annoying but good enough for what I came to do.

Agree with @gwillen ... we want to allow any user to change the topic, but don't want to allow them to edit the room. IRC-style.
