And VLC does not support HDMI clock adjustments/clock recovery for live feed decoding which is one of omxplayers most important features.
Such a large VLC footprint for hw decoding on RPi... :-(
VLC is no replacement for omxplayer as it lacks unique features like clock recovery and hdmi clock adjustment for live stream decoding.
The PTS (and DTS) is a 33bit value sampling a 90 kHz clock derived from the MPEG-TS PCR value. So there is a rollover after 95443 seconds in these values....
Growing or shrinking latency means that the clock recovery on decoder and PLL adjustment on output does not work (correctly).
Ich würde vorschlagen die von einem LP gelieferte Sessionenergie **ausschließlich** als Hilfsgröße für zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits laufende Sessions beim Start von evcc zu verwenden ansonsten immer **nur** den Zählerstand...
Irgendwas ist immer... 🙄 Das könnten wir bei tatsächlichem Bedarf im Einzelfall aber in der konkreten Implementierung abfangen.
