Thanks for the instructions to recover, just ran into the same issue when packaging emacs.

I don't have Baldur's Gate 3, so I won't be much help here. Might need to mod manually, if things aren't working.

Does it launch properly after a full reboot, or same issue?

I'm not familiar with Enderal, but it shouldn't be too hard. If it's based on Skyrim, maybe it'd just need the paths changed in a copy of https://github.com/pikdum/steam-deck/blob/master/vortex/skyrim-post-deploy.sh.

I'm not able to reproduce, but I bumped up the Proton version to the latest. Try running the update shortcut, that might fix things.

You'll want to run `install.sh` to update this tool, not `install-vortex.desktop`.
