Some preliminary investigation was done but warrants a more thorough review of the code, which hasn't been touched likely since Altair. This only affects smaller devnets and doesn't show up...
This might be isolated. My node has been running 1.34.0-rc.0 for 24 hours and has remained stable at 200.
Same with this, could probably tag as Fulu as we can remove it then.
We don't need to be aggressive with it especially if we have more important matters to put our time to. But thanks for creating the issue to track removal though.
