I'm still seeing this issue after Tuesday's release of [GoogleSignIn](https://cocoapods.org/pods/GoogleSignIn) 6.0.0. Our readme and changelog content hasn't been updated since 2017 despite a number of releases since then.

So you're still seeing the check feeds process hang and need to restart Firefox? Also, when you say sub folders, do you mean immediate children of the Sage Feeds folder?
Do you have any extensions installed that might be interfering with Sage? Could you try installing Sage on a fresh Firefox profile?
I'm unable to reproduce the feed checking behavior you're describing here on Ubuntu 12.04 / Firefox 22. Can you think of anything that might be unique about your environment?
