I have the same issue on macOS 13.3.1.
I have tried to add it manually but unfortunately it does not work. After clicking '+' and selecting the App from the Applications folder the 'Open at login' list remains...
If HLS is deleted from TranscodeVideo = HLS-MPEGTS-H264-AAC in Roku-4640x.conf file, the subtitles are transcoded. The Play/Pause and Rewind buttons no longer work without HLS.
