Okay, well I'm not really sure what that means. I've had this laptop for a few days and just recreated my old setup + updated the upstream.
okay, well for reference I get `xterm-256color` outside of `tmux` and `screen-256color` in. For now I'll do as you suggested with `.tmux.conf.local`

nope. It was silently not doing anything until I switched to `bash`
well it works now, so all good

Yeah, I get you @pzelnip, but when I first tried (a while ago now) it didn't work even with Rosetta - which is why I've been following this issue
