@rwmajor2 -- The existing link opens the item details page -- it'd be nice to also be able to open the item itself instead of having to click "View Item...

Note that the item resource files would need to be copied AND the links to these images would need to be updated in the copied story's JSON.

Bumping this one again. This issue now also blocks users from copying next-gen ArcGIS StoryMap items. We rely heavily on item file resources (draft story data, express maps, uploaded images/videos)...
