Why is Manager copying the file and trying to write to it in the first place?
I am speculating it's caused by the activity being "restarted"

Send the logs as requested.
Edit your OP with the manager logs in the settings, not the patch logs. 
Do you have enough space
Try ReVanced Manager v1.20
Reset Manager to default, check if it works.
