I don't understand what your complaint is? Is it the background colour that's the problem?

Could you give us the color pick of that section so we can try and find the corresponding style?

@isabelroses did some investigation, issue seems to be from [this section in Colloid](https://github.com/vinceliuice/Colloid-gtk-theme/blob/1a13048ea1bd4a6cb9b293b537afd16bf267e773/src/sass/libadwaita/widgets/_tooltip.scss#L5), we can patch this and submit it to upstream

As described, there should be no binaries in the release for paru to strip. Maybe try reporting upstream in paru? Doesn't seem like our concern. Closing as not planned.
