This has been fixed with the new build system (links for you), and in the new README (accurately describes the variable requirement)

I don't see a problem with the images provided, but if you would like to test with the latest release (https://github.com/catppuccin/gtk/releases/tag/v1.0.0-rc3), that would be good.

 Can repro, tested on `v1.0.0-rc3`. Doesn't seem as bad as the original report, but still broken nonetheless.

1.0.0-rc2 would be as up to date as 0.7.5, possible better. We can reopen this and report upstream (or link to an upstream issue if it exists) :+1: No work...
