It reads as if the OP is a question asked before testing the software, not an issue report. So I expect this issue can be closed.

Pandoc also adds images using `\includegraphics{}` without import `\usepackage{graphicx}`, so the generated `.tex` is unusable out-the-box.

Why not? I think it might be quite a useful thing to be able to do.

I don't know the host or scheme, how do I figure those out?
