@AgroGPS , this PR (https://github.com/opengisch/QField/pull/3247) has tweaked the random color generation of the tracking line to insure that we never pick an overlight bright color. It's not a user customizable...

We'd need to insure no ongoing download/upload to/from QFieldCloud is underway.

@gispro168 , QField 1.9 will remember last map extent as well as selected map theme when you re-open a project.

The remaining enhancement requested here is implemented in https://github.com/opengisch/QField/pull/3237
