I cant seem to get the 099 firmware loaded. I load the tf_recovery.img into the root of the SD card, insert it into the camera and connect the USB power....

I found the QR code appears when you use the HomeAssistant IOS app but not on the browser. Not a fix but a workaround :)

There is an issue on the tuya repo that suggests it could be linked to have a custom theme set on your interface. Do you have a theme set?

Just commenting on this specific device, the default debug_discovery.py script is setup to point to BIZ_TYPE = "smart_life" however changing to BIZ_TYPE = "tuya" results in the thermostat being displayed:...
