I came here to report the same bug. I'm on Firefox/MacOS (desktop). The behaviour does not repeat on mobile Firefox/Android.
+1 for supporting an included `map`-configuration in `package.json` to avoid installing two conflicting libraries. Perhaps it's a bit backwards and really should be in the dependency config for a package....
How about a bookmarklet? Could work with a JSONP response.

Ditto for this issue on OS X 10.12.6 and ShiftIt 1.6.6.
I can repeat the behaviour with any full screen app, not just terminal (iTerm2). I switched to Spectacle.app which doesn't have this problem.
