Just stumbled across this issue. This is similar what https://github.com/helix-editor/helix/pull/12204 does
What about blending `mantle` with `base` such that it looks as if the background color of the inlay hints was at 75% opacity?, e.g. "fake opacity"
I personally prefer if the background color for inlay hints is unchanged
