I have just run into this bug as well on macOS 12.1, Vorta 0.8.2. Because the scheduling is broken I didn't get any notification from Vorta that backups were failing....

Changing the schedule (to every 5 minutes) seems to have fixed my issue of the backup never running. However I'm not able to reproduce the issue so I'm not sure...
