I mainly need npm support so I can npm install this library as a dependency in projects that use only npm for managing dependencies (no bower available).

In Ubuntu 16.10 (tilda 1.3.1), the stylesheet workaround no longer works.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but this is just a use case for this feature, and even so, I believe a user should be able to load modules this...
