We don't composite in the Steam Deck as we have everything for HDR multiplane scanout in SteamOS. If composite is taking 4+ ms, then something is horribly wrong.
Hmm, I guess we should find out what native drivers are returning here for D3DFMT_X1R5G5B5 and D3DFMT_A1R5G5B5, and see if we should app profile this or just remove it.
I think this should work fine on the new Wayland backend in master -- not so sure about the SDL backend.
