When there is a validation error, it can stall with that status. I observe that it seems to be when a namespace shortcut is misspelled, e.g. "ts:" instead of "tts:".

In addition to manually stepping through the ISDs, allow the presentation to run beginning to end. There are certain flow dynamics that are better observed in real time.

For better or worse, the spec and schema require an order to the schema elements. Out of order elements are not reported as an error.
