I believe createNestedObject function NEEDS some kind of documentation. What is the purpose of that function and what is it expected to return?

Allow for setting websocket port via configuration

Currently the websocket server default port is hardcoded into allhands. It would be nice to provide the user with a possibility to use a different port.
