I don't think there is a good way how we can fix this. Isn't this something that every dual stack server is going to see?

This may be because we're not completing both TCP handshakes here. With UDP we don't have a handshake, so we have a "connection" immediately.

Can I ask what your use case here? One problem we have with mitmweb here is that there can be multiple instances running, and we obviously don't want to sync...
