Are you sure this really is a DeathAdder 3500 DPI? If so, Razer seems to have created a new device with an old name.
Thanks for the USB report. This is a new device that is unsupported until somebody reverse engineers the wire protocol.

Please capture the bus communication with the original Windows driver and look for differences in the protocol.
