Have you looked at git-annex and git-annex-assistant? https://git-annex.branchable.com/assistant/ In my experience on Linux it works but can be a memory hog. Web pages says it works on OS X.

Note this was meant to be fixed by 6cfd602 but I get a different fingerprint as included in this PR.

Hi @macedd sorry, I just hacked it together by hand. I took the fingerprint on the github.com support webpage and converted it to hex using a couple of format conversion...
