+1 Changing between Orca, Blender and Fusion absolutely boggles my mind. At least in Blender and Fusion, I can customize it freely. Hey @KinkGD, I'm having the exact same issue (v1.24.14, Linux Mint 21). Did you find a fix for this?

How can I launch the GUI version in sudo? Doing this solves the issue?

Just tested it and it worked! Thanks for the help @jeph-st @KinkGD! Hope this bug gets fixed in the next updates.
