@annismckenzie Definitely possible to upstream the changes, only problem is that I have limited time for reviewing. Perhaps if you could provide a PR here and involve the interested parties...

It would be nice to be able to pass flags to tmux on startup. I would like to use it for iTerm integration like @JBKahn. I think it is reasonable...

Can this please be merged and a release created? I have the same issue as other people with Go 1.16.

Can a smaller part of the generate package be public? Do you have some ideas on this?
