A pity the devs are so concerned with non-existent legal issues that there is nothing that can be done about this.
Emulators like Drastic are focused on performance, while melonDS is focused on accuracy, so it is only natural that the latter has worse performance on your device than the former...

I should point out that there's a display glitch that happens in the car selection screen after doing a race. Just do a race after power on, do another one...

May I ask for examples of what games require specific dates to work properly? AFAIK, no games require that, so this would be pointless.
I don't think this is really of much priority tho, given that you can use your PC to play those Audio CDs, and not bother with PCSX2 at all.
