easy to test with: `Invoke-Item .` or `Login-AzureRmAccount`
I think this has been addressed with the recently added [Properties feature](https://obsidian.rocks/an-introduction-to-obsidian-properties/). I get different colours now :)
ahh yes in source mode, it is the same colour. I guess I mostly use Edit mode now which displays the frontmatter/properties differently. I'll fine tune my original request to...
