Perhaps a more "high-level" plugin notification for search responses would make sense. Are you interested in any information in particular, other than the files?

Could you check if the `gtk4-demo` app (available in the `gtk-4-examples` package) has the same issues when trying to use it? I don't have Chrome OS, but if it's possible...

We'll use token buckets for this. They're easy to implement, and the official server seems to use them too.
