What do you mean by maximize? expanding to cover the full screen? if that the case I believe this should be handled by the consumer so your Profiling UI

I think we probably need to reconsider this. definitely Lens should block this behaviour, but we should also not provide an option for that.

Close as I've splitted the implementation by chart here https://github.com/elastic/elastic-charts/pull/2676 by starting only with area/lines
