From what I can see in context of 2.7.x we've fixed this issue in the pending Prime release. That version will ship with `rancher/shell` [v0.1.24](https://github.com/rancher/shell/releases/tag/v0.1.24) which comes with kubectl `v1.26.9`....
Just realized this issue is the same as the one on rancher/rancher that I've recently begun working on. So I'm assigning myself here to match that one: https://github.com/rancher/rancher/issues/42158
I would guess that similar to https://github.com/rancher/backup-restore-operator/pull/439 both this PR and #459 will need some manual rebase work. And likely a good deal of these bumps lowered to not cause...
