This looks to be also caused by pressing "C-x" during a popup.
I was trying to get the quick help to show up automatically with no delay.
I seem to be having memory corruption issues using printf rather than kprintf, but that's probably something else.

I tried using the [WebXR API Emulator](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/webxr-api-emulator/mjddjgeghkdijejnciaefnkjmkafnnje) extension, and the render looked correct to me... I do not have a personal device to test with.
