I can also confirm that the issue only occurs when the external power is connected. Perhaps it introduces static electricity?

The reason why I did not implement animation is because blur filter cannot be animated. It is a on/off filter only. BTW, I'll add animations as soon as I'll have...

I never experienced that...have you tried disabling the extension to check whether the problem disappear? What version of the extension/GS are you using? Wich windows/applications are affected?
