Same thing happened to me with SMPlayer subtitles in Linux. I fixed it editing the spacing configuration of SMPlayer to adjusting values as a workaround, because I really love Lexend....

Also... It looks like ratings are transformed into 1 or 0. Is this necessary? Can't it be a range between 0 and 1?
