this is a already mentioned problem. To solve it, run the patch again every time you boot up your computer. It should work just fine after. Unfortunately cache is erased.

Close whatever application it is using it, run the patch and then run the app you use snap camera for.
Apple M1 having same issue. I have reinstalled the OS System ( Ventura) thinking it would fix it and now I just realize here that is a common issue now....

when you run the script, the password you have is the password you use for your mac
