The author of this extension has not updated it for more than 7 years. I suggest to use another extension

The issue seems to have started in sequelize-cli v6.4.0

Seems like the issue is fixed in esbuild version 17.7: https://github.com/evanw/esbuild/issues/1370 https://github.com/evanw/esbuild/releases/tag/v0.17.7

Note: I did not add a fix. I only added a failing test (inspired from https://github.com/romgain/react-select-event/pull/47 )

I was thinking about it, not sure if I can find a reliable fix. I saw that an attempt has been made to improve `getReactSelectContainerFromInput` but it caused bugs then...
