It is still broken for command-line mode. EDIT: Specifically, Delete prints `ÎS` EDIT2: `let &t_kD="\xceS"` fixes it

I've added a shortcut and an entry in the help screen. I did not provide translations, however.

I had a similar problem, but instead it was "exec format error". [This](https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/8952#issuecomment-1568212651) fixed it. Not sure if it's related to this.
