I was able to get this working by using two usb receivers and pairing one trackball to each. Now both devices show up in input-remapper as M570 and M570 2
I've been struggling with this for a week. I'm running 2.3.0. I tried the latest nightly as of today because there was a commit entry that claimed to fix this....
