Bacterial Isolate Genome Sequence Database (BIGSdb): A platform for gene-by-gene bacterial population annotation and analysis.
This should simplify the preferences code that is run on every page load.
Especially the case for Mycoplasma.
Currently Genome Comparator and ITOL allow users to upload their own genomes in .zip format, but to make it consistent with contig download it should at least allow .tar files....
A wider choice may be needed by a curator, but there are times when we wish to restrict these to certain values in submissions from users.
