Moving pages between notebooks fails

Can't paste pages into an existing notebook ("failed moving pages" error) and can't create a new notebook in a folder after choosing to move pages, though both options appear available....

Would love to be able to select a full page or layer rather than trying to loop the selection frame around the edges of the screen. I keep taking notes...
