Version 3.15.3 fixed non-english filename problem (bug https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/issues/7258). If You have this version and crashes, perhaps that's another issue
If client crashes on files with non-english characters in filenames or path, it could be the same problem as in https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/issues/7310
