FYI I use [Surfingkeys](https://github.com/brookhong/Surfingkeys) today, it has more features than cVim. I ported everything from my [cVimrc](https://gist.github.com/kalbasit/359ed6744bda93fd4a70) to [.surfingkeys.js](https://github.com/kalbasit/dotfiles/blob/master/.surfingkeys.js.erb) with no issues.
IMO Surfingkeys, but YMMV.

@deanoemcke this could be solved by loading the suspended page externally (as-in accessed via regular `http`/`https`) instead of `chrome-extension://klbibkeccnjlkjkiokjodocebajanakg/suspended.html`. cVim (or any other extension) does not work over `chrome-extension://`.
