Perhaps we should not deviate from the stdlib for most email but maybe we could special parse emails that stdlib fails to parse. if we get an error from `textproto.ReadMIMEHeader()`...

If we go with the "fix-malformed-emails" solution, what's your ETA on closing down the issues?
