Please have a look at my fork and check whether I understand correctly what is going on.
Still unable to convert on Debian stretch, but for a different reason: 8 GB of memory appears insufficient.
It is installed but looks like it is not used. I run the program from the `build/scripts-3.9/` directory. Can this be the reason? Anyway I circumvented the problem by copying...
I support this feature request, but suggest a simple approach: please add command line parameters for setting OpenType features.
Personally I'm interested primarily in the features added recently to JuniusX: [cv16 ](https://github.com/psb1558/Junicode-New/issues/3) and [cv13](https://github.com/psb1558/Junicode-New/issues/4), also in ss15 (various shapes of _e caudata)_ used also in Junicode.
