Search-API-Results

I have a question about the Search-API and universal viewer. I use the hocrviewer to parse my hocr and as backend for IIIF-Images and full text. As front end i prefer universal viewer. I could set up everything but the full text search is not working. With mirador I could the all hocr boxes with text. I presume the search API request result doesn't deliver the aspected format. Could this be possible? Would be great to get some advice and hints.

Thanks in advance

I'm curious how do you use universal viewer with hocrviewer, I'm also interested. As for your question, I think ii can be useful to ask it on the uv mailing list, i.e. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/universalviewer.

I just installed universalviewer and made a static HTML page, where I load the manifest from the hocrviewer-mirador (server runs in background). Unfortunatly the hocr could not be shown.

Thanks for the hint with the mailing list. I'll ask there...

Have you solved your problem? I would like to use your solution.

No, I'm still stucked... I guess every hOCR could be quite different but still valid and universalviewer and mirrador interpret this different. An other reason could be the API-result auf the hocrviewer server. But I'm not able to dig into that.

I guess uv just does not support (yet?) such annotation but I'm very curious what answers would you get on the uv list. On the other hand looks there can be problem with mirador too. I quote below my post to slack of 3rd May which has not been answered by anybody: I experiment successfully with https://github.com/jbaiter/hocrviewer-mirador. In the build-in version of Mirador the annotations are displayed in small windows when hoovering over appropriate parts of scans, and that's what I want. When I display the same document in Mirador 3, all annotations are displayed in the side panel. Is it possible to configure Mirador 3 to behave in the same way as the version provided with hocrviewer-mirador?
