It will be impossible to know with which compressors a static boost was compiled until they finally add some information in cmake. Until then we have to use that hack...

That would be interesting. I assumed boost uses those compressors privately, not exposing their interface and therefore only needs to transitively propagate it's dependencies in case you build it statically....
